How a correction runs.
Every car follows the same studio workflow — the difference between a one-stage polish that holds up for a year and a “quick polish” that hides the marks for a wash.
Paint depth readings
Every panel measured with a paint depth gauge so we know exactly how much clearcoat there is to work with. No guessing, no panels worked thinner than they should be.
Single-stage machine polish
A dual-action polisher with the right pad and compound for your paint system corrects 70–100% of swirl marks, light scratches, water etching and bird-strike marks. Headlights, tail lights and gloss black trims included.
12-month ceramic coating
A professional ceramic seals the corrected paint — gloss locks in, water sheets off, and contaminants stop bonding to the clearcoat. Protects the work you just paid for.
Common questions.
How long does paint correction take?
Two full days on site. Day one is wash, decontaminate, clay and machine polish. Day two is final refining, ceramic coating and curing. We work from your driveway so you keep the keys.
Will paint correction remove all scratches?
Anything in the clearcoat — swirls, hologramming, water etching, light keymarks — typically lifts to 70–100%. Deep scratches that have caught the basecoat need touching in or wet-sanding, which we will quote separately if found.
Is paint correction safe for my car?
Yes — we measure clearcoat thickness on every panel before and after, and stop well within safe tolerances. Soft Japanese clear and hard German clear get different pad and compound choices.
How long does the ceramic coating last?
The 12-month ceramic included with the correction package keeps paint hydrophobic and UV-protected for the full year with our recommended maintenance wash schedule. Longer 5-year and 9-year coatings are available on request.
